ABOUT TRUST EDUCATION

The BR Ambedkar Educational Trust was founded with the objective of promoting education, particularly among the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as outlined in Articles 341(1) and 342(1) of the Constitution. This initiative aims to address the discrimination faced by these groups due to untouchability. The Trust seeks to establish various educational and training institutions, including schools, colleges, teacher training institutes, industrial training centers, hospitals, dispensaries, and research institutions, all designed to enhance educational opportunities for the beneficiaries specified in rule 3(i).

OUR Objectives

i) To promote education particularly among the members of the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes as defined in Articles 341(1) and 342(1) repectivey of the Constitution and having under gone or undergoing the disabilities due to untouchability. ii) To establish Schools, Colleges, Teacher Training Institutes, Industrial Training Institutions, Hospitals / Dispensaries, Reseach Institutions and such other institutions that may impact education and training for the benefit of those mentioned in rule 3(i). iii) To establish Adult Education and Allied Centres in the Villages. iv) To promote various cultural and literary activities among the members mentioned in rule 3(i) and develop them in mental, physical and in 37 economic spheres so as to make them upright citizens and to inculcate in them a spirit of oneness among themselves. v) To raise funds, collect donations in cash or kind; to receive donations or gifts or property, movable or immovable or acquistion thereof and on be half of the Trust, in such a manner as the Board of Trustees deem fit and proper to carry out the objects of the Trust. vi) To pay all costs, charged and expenses, incidental to the man agement, administration and execution of the Trust's powers herein contained. vii) To appoint staff, teachers, lecturers, workers etc., on the basis of merit, to fix their salaries; and to make rules and regulations or to amend them from time to time. viii) To take over the management of any other public or Charitable Institutions, project or branch of any such institutions on such terms and conditions as the Council of Trustees shall deem fit and to manage such institutions. ix) To pursue any other objects deemed fit by the Council of Trustees for furtherance of socio-economic, cultural and educational development of the Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes, including conducting seminars, workshops and dissemination of information, knowledge and the philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar through publications, journals, etc. x) To utilise the income of the Trust for the purposes mentioned herein before and no part of the income be utilised for the personal purposes of the Trustees or their dependants or any members or relative; and xi) All or any activities financed from the funds of the Trust shall be conducted in accordance with or in futherance of the objects stated herein before.
